GERMANY, Nov. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 12: After three straigth victories against Hoffenheim, Darmstadt 98 and Bayer Leverkusen, Die Wölfe lost 2-0 against Mainz.
Mainz dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine midfielder Pablo De Blasis in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the O-Fives further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Malli in the 75th minute.
VfL Wolfsburg remains in third place with 21 points from 12 games, 5 points behind Borussia Dortmund, which has a game in hand.
