GERMANY, Oct. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 11: Three wins in a row for Wolfsburg. After their success against Hoffenheim and Darmstadt 98, Die Wölfe continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen this Saturday.
Wolfsburg forward Nicklas Bendtner opened the score in the 34th minute, before seeing Bayer Leverkusen catch up in the 40th minute thanks to Javier Hernández. 1-1 at half time. Die Wölfe eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Draxler in the 77th minute.
VfL Wolfsburg climbed to third place with 21 points from 11 games, 5 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
