Bundesliga (Week 20) : FC Ingolstadt defeats Augsburg 2-1
GERMANY, Feb. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 20: After losing 2-0 to Borussia Dortmund on January 30, Die Schanzer returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Augsburg had started off well by taking the lead in the 14th minute with a goal by Greek defender Kostas Stafylidis. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Die Schanzer nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Matip '59 and Hartmann '85 on penalty).
FC Ingolstadt 04 climbed to 9th place with 26 points from 20 games, only one point behind VfL Wolfsburg.
