GERMANY, Apr. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 30: After losing 0-2 to Bayer Leverkusen on April 10, the Billy Goats returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Mainz had started off well by taking the lead in the 8th minute with a goal by Colombian forward Cordoba Jhon. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Billy Goats nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Risse '64, Jojic '74 and Modeste '83).
1. FSV Mainz 05 remains in 6th place with 45 points from 30 games, tie on points with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
