GERMANY, Apr. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 31: After three straigth defeats, the Eagles returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Mainz midfielder Daniel Brosinski opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Eintracht Frankfurt catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Marco Russ. 1-1 at half time. The Eagles eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Bell into his own net with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
1. FSV Mainz 05 remains in 6th place with 45 points from 31 games, 3 points behind Borussia Mönchengladbach.
