GERMANY, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 31: Three wins in a row for Augsburg. After their success against Werder Bremen and Stuttgart, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over Wolfsburg this Saturday.
Augsburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Icelandic forward Alfreð Finnbogason in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Augsburg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Altıntop in the 58th minute.
VfL Wolfsburg are down in 10th place with 39 points from 31 games, one point behind FC Ingolstadt 04.
