Bundesliga (Week 31) : Bayer beats Schalke 04 3-2
GERMANY, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 31: 6 wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their success against Hamburger SV, Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, FC Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Schalke 04 this Saturday.
Schalke 04 had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Choupo-moting Maxim Eric ('14) and Sané ('29). Trailing 2-0 at half time, Bayer Leverkusen players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Brandt '54, Bellarabi '56 and Hernández '60).
Bayer Leverkusen remains in third place with 54 points from 31 games, 20 points behind Borussia Dortmund.
