GERMANY, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: After their 1-1 draw against RB Leipzig on September 21, the Foals bounced back with a 2-0 victory over FC Ingolstadt this Saturday.
Mönchengladbach dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Lars Stindl in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Foals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Wendt in the 76th minute.
Borussia Mönchengladbach climbed to fourth place with 10 points from 5 games, tie on points with 1. FC Köln, which has a game in hand.
