GERMANY, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: After their 0-0 draw against Augsburg on September 21, Bayer Leverkusen bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
Javier Hernández scored tripple goals
Mainz had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Malli ('31) and Bell ('35), while Bayer only scored once Hernández ('32). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Bayer Leverkusen players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Hernández '66, '90).
