Bundesliga (Week 5) : Dortmund defeats Freiburg 3-1
GERMANY, Sep. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for Borussia Dortmund. After their success against Darmstadt 98 and Wolfsburg, BVB continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over SC Freiburg this Friday.
Borussia Dortmund dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, BVB further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Piszczek Lukasz '53 and Guerreiro '90).
Borussia Dortmund climbed to second place with 12 points from 5 games, tie on points with Bayern Munich, which has a game in hand.
