Bundesliga (Week 4) : Mainz 05 beats Bremen 2-1
GERMANY, Sep. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Mainz. After their 1-3 win against Augsburg on September 18, the O-Fives continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Werder Bremen this Wednesday.
Werder Bremen had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Bosnian midfielder Izet Hajrović. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the O-Fives nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Malli '87 and De Blasis Pablo '90).
1. FSV Mainz 05 climbed to 7th place with 7 points from 4 games, only one point behind RB Leipzig.
