GERMANY, Oct. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 6: The match between actual leader Bayern Munich and FC Köln ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Bayern Munich players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich in the 40th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by FC Köln with a saving goal from French forward Anthony Modeste in the 63rd minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 16 points from 6 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Hertha Berlin.
