GERMANY, Oct. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: After their 1-1 draw against Augsburg on October 15, the Royal Blues returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Mainz this Sunday.
Nabil Bentaleb scored dual goals
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Algerian midfielder Nabil Bentaleb in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Meyer '48 and Bentaleb '61).
