Bundesliga (Week 8) : Hoffenheim beats Bayer 3-0
GERMANY, Oct. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: Four wins in a row for Hoffenheim. After their success against Schalke 04, FC Ingolstadt and SC Freiburg, Hoffenheim continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen this Saturday.
Hoffenheim dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Kerem Demirbay in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Hoffenheim players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Wagner '49 and Zuber '60).
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim climbed to third place with 16 points from 8 games, only one point behind Hertha Berlin.
