GERMANY, Oct. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 7: After their 2-2 draw against Darmstadt 98 on October 1, Die Werderaner bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen this Saturday.
Werder Bremen midfielder Zlatko Junuzović opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Bayer Leverkusen catch up in the 27th minute thanks to Hakan Çalhanoğlu. 1-1 at half time. Die Werderaner eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Manneh Ousman in the 59th minute.
Bayer Leverkusen are down in 9th place with 10 points from 7 games, one point behind Borussia Mönchengladbach.
