GERMANY, Nov. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 10: Two wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their 1-2 win against Wolfsburg on October 29, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Turkish midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bayer Leverkusen players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Brandt '56 and Aranguiz Charlez '69).
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to 7th place with 16 points from 10 games, 2 points behind 1. FC Köln, which has a game in hand.
