Bundesliga (Week 11) : Leipzig beats Bayer 3-2

GERMANY, Nov. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 11: 6 wins in a row for RB Leipzig. After their success against Augsburg, Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen, Darmstadt 98 and Mainz, Die Bullen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Bayer Leverkusen this Friday.

Bayer Leverkusen had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Kampl ('1) and Brandt ('45), while Leipzig only scored once Baumgartlinger ('4 own). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Die Bullen nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Forsberg '67 and Orban '81).

RB Leipzig climbed to first place with 27 points from 11 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Bayern Munich, which has a game in hand.
