GERMANY, Nov. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 11: Two wins in a row for Schalke 04. After their 3-1 win against Werder Bremen on November 6, the Royal Blues continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 1-0 victory over Wolfsburg this Saturday.
45 minutes of play and neither Schalke 04 nor Wolfsburg have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 11st place with 14 points from 11 games, only one point behind SC Freiburg.
