Bundesliga (Week 12) : Schalke 04 defeats Darmstadt 3-1
GERMANY, Nov. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 12: Three wins in a row for Schalke 04. After their success against Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg, the Royal Blues continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Sunday.
Darmstadt 98 midfielder Marcel Heller opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Schalke 04 catch up in the 26th minute thanks to Sead Kolasinac. 1-1 at half time. The Royal Blues eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Choupo-moting Eric ('60) and Schöpf ('90).
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 8th place with 17 points from 12 games, 4 points behind Hertha Berlin, which has a game in hand.
