GERMANY, Dec. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 13: 8 wins in a row for RB Leipzig. After their success against Augsburg, Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen, Darmstadt 98, Mainz, Bayer Leverkusen and SC Freiburg, Die Bullen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Schalke 04 this Saturday.
RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner opened the score in the 2nd minute on penalty, before seeing Schalke 04 catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Sead Kolasinac. 1-1 at half time. Die Bullen eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Kolasinac into his own net in the 47th minute.
RB Leipzig remains in first place with 33 points from 13 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Bayern Munich.
