Bundesliga (Week 13) : Bayern Munich beats Mainz 05 3-1
GERMANY, Dec. 2, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their 2-1 win against Bayer Leverkusen on November 26, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Mainz this Friday.
Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals
Mainz opened the score in the score in the 4th minute thanks to Cordoba Jhon, before Bayern Munich regained the advantage with Lewandowski ('8) and Robben ('21). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Lewandowski in stoppage time.
Bayern Munich climbed to first place with 30 points from 13 games, tie on points with runner-up RB Leipzig, which has a game in hand.
