GERMANY, Nov. 19, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 11: After losing 3-1 to RB Leipzig on November 6, the O-Fives returned to winning ways with a 4-2 victory over SC Freiburg this Saturday.
Mainz dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bungert ('15) and Malli ('20 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the O-Fives further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Bell '82 and Onisiwo Karim '90).
1. FSV Mainz 05 climbed to 8th place with 17 points from 11 games, only one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt, which has a game in hand.
