Bundesliga (Week 13) : Hertha BSC beats Wolfsburg 3-2
GERMANY, Dec. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Hertha Berlin. After their 2-1 win against Mainz on November 27, the Old Lady continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg this Saturday.
Wolfsburg had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Mayoral Borja ('12) and Seguin ('18), while Hertha BSC only scored once Plattenhardt ('16). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Old Lady nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Esswein '69 and Kalou '90 on penalty).
Hertha Berlin remains in third place with 27 points from 13 games, 3 points behind RB Leipzig, which has a game in hand.
