Bundesliga (Week 16) : Wolfsburg beats M'Gladbach 2-1
GERMANY, Dec. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Wolfsburg. After their 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on December 17, Die Wölfe continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Mönchengladbach this Tuesday.
Wolfsburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Daniel Caligiuri in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Wölfe further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Gómez in the 57th minute.
VfL Wolfsburg climbed to 13rd place with 16 points from 16 games, 2 points behind FC Augsburg.
