GERMANY, Dec. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 16: Five wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Bayer Leverkusen, Mainz, Wolfsburg and Darmstadt 98, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over RB Leipzig this Wednesday.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Thiago Alcántara ('17), Xabi Alonso ('25) and Robert Lewandowski ('45 on penalty).
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 39 points from 16 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up RB Leipzig.
