Bundesliga (Week 17) : Bayern Munich defeats Freiburg 2-1
GERMANY, Jan. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 17: 6 wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Bayer Leverkusen, Mainz, Wolfsburg, Darmstadt 98 and RB Leipzig, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over SC Freiburg this Friday.
Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals
SC Freiburg midfielder Janik Haberer opened the score in the 4th minute, before seeing Bayern Munich catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Robert Lewandowski. 1-1 at half time. The Bavarians eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Lewandowski in stoppage time.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 42 points from 17 games, a 6-point lead over runner-up RB Leipzig, which has a game in hand.
