GERMANY, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 17: After losing 2-1 to Hamburger SV on December 20, the Royal Blues bounced back with a 1-0 victory over FC Ingolstadt this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Austrian forward Guido Burgstaller in stoppage time.
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 9th place with 21 points from 17 games, 2 points behind SC Freiburg.
