Bundesliga (Week 18) : Leipzig beats Hoffenheim 2-1
GERMANY, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for RB Leipzig. After their 3-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt on January 21, Die Bullen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim this Saturday.
Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing RB Leipzig catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Timo Werner. 1-1 at half time. Die Bullen eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sabitzer Marcel in the 77th minute.
RB Leipzig remains in second place with 42 points from 18 games, 3 points behind Bayern Munich.
