Bundesliga (Week 19) : Augsburg beats Bremen 3-2
GERMANY, Feb. 5, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Augsburg. After their 1-2 win against Wolfsburg on January 28, Augsburg continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Werder Bremen this Sunday.
Werder Bremen defender Theodor Gebre Selassie opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Augsburg catch up in the 28th minute thanks to Jonathan Schmid. 1-1 at half time. Augsburg eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Koo Ja-cheol ('79) and Bobadilla Raul ('90).
FC Augsburg climbed to 10th place with 24 points from 19 games, tie on points with Bayer Leverkusen.
