GERMANY, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 21: The Eagles crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-0 against FC Ingolstadt.
FC Ingolstadt dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French defender Bregerie Romain in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Schanzer further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Groß on penalty in the 69th minute.
Eintracht Frankfurt are down in fifth place with 35 points from 21 games, 2 points behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
