FC Ingolstadt made Mönchengladbach doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Stindl ('60) and Hahn ('90).
Borussia Mönchengladbach climbed to 10th place with 29 points from 22 games, only one point behind SC Freiburg.
