GERMANY, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 22: After losing 2-0 to Mainz on February 17 and 1-3 to Bayer Leverkusen on February 17, Augsburg returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Verhaegh ('55) and Bobadilla Raul ('85).
FC Augsburg climbed to 11st place with 27 points from 22 games, only one point behind 1. FSV Mainz 05.
