Bundesliga (Week 33) : Wolfsburg and M'Gladbach play to a 1-1 draw
GERMANY, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 33: The match between Wolfsburg and Mönchengladbach ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Mönchengladbach players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Danish defender Jannik Vestergaard in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Wolfsburg with a saving goal from Wolfsburg forward Mario Gómez in the 58th minute.
Borussia Mönchengladbach remains in 9th place with 44 points from 33 games, one point behind SV Werder Bremen.
