GERMANY, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 29: After losing 0-1 to SC Freiburg on April 8 and 4-1 to Schalke 04 on April 8, Die Wölfe bounced back with a 3-0 victory over FC Ingolstadt this Saturday.
Wolfsburg dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Suttner Markus in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Wölfe further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Malli '68 and Gómez '80).
VfL Wolfsburg climbed to 13rd place with 33 points from 29 games, 2 points behind Bayer Leverkusen, which has a game in hand.
