Bundesliga (Week 28) : FC Ingolstadt defeats Darmstadt 3-2
GERMANY, Apr. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 28: Three wins in a row for FC Ingolstadt. After their success against Mainz and Augsburg, Die Schanzer continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Darmstadt 98 this Sunday.
Darmstadt 98 had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Vrančić ('33, '39 on penalty), while FC Ingolstadt only scored once Groß ('20). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Die Schanzer nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Cohen '68 and Suttner Markus '72).
FC Ingolstadt 04 remains in 17th place with 28 points from 28 games, one point behind FC Augsburg.
