GERMANY, Apr. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 28: After losing 3-0 to Werder Bremen on April 4, the Royal Blues returned to winning ways with a 4-1 victory over Wolfsburg this Saturday.
Guido Burgstaller scored dual goals
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to goals from Burgstaller ('6) and Goretzka ('23). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Caligiuri '48 and Burgstaller '77).
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 10th place with 37 points from 28 games, only one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt.
