GERMANY, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 30: Two wins in a row for Werder Bremen. After their 2-1 win against Hamburger SV on April 16, Die Werderaner continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 4-2 victory over FC Ingolstadt this Saturday.
Max Kruse served up another goal feast
Lezcano Dario opened the score in the 32nd minute, before seeing Werder Bremen catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Max Kruse penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. Die Werderaner eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Kruse ('81, '88, '90).
SV Werder Bremen climbed to 6th place with 42 points from 30 games, 4 points behind Hertha Berlin.
