GERMANY, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 30: Bayern Munich was held to a 2-2 draw by Mainz on Saturday.
Mainz players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Krkić ('3) and Brosinski ('40 on penalty) while Bayern Munich only scored once Robben ('16). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Bayern Munich with a saving goal from Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcántara in the 73rd minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 70 points from 30 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up RB Leipzig, which has a game in hand.
