GERMANY, Apr. 29, 2017 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 31: After losing 5-3 to Hoffenheim on April 22 and 2-3 to Borussia Dortmund on April 22, the Foals returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
Mönchengladbach dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Lars Stindl in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Foals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Schulz in the 46th minute.
Borussia Mönchengladbach climbed to 9th place with 42 points from 31 games, tie on points with 1. FC Köln.
