CAIRO, Jan. 21, 2006 (AMP) — Egypt 2006 : DR Congo defeated Togo by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a AFCON group stage game on Saturday night.

The result put the congolese second in Group B with 3 points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet third-placed Angola on January 25, while Togo will face Cameroon.
