CHARLOTTE AMALIE, Mar. 29, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Grenada defeated the United States Virgin Islands by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon.
Grenada dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by S. Rennie in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Grenadians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sampson in stoppage time.
