Mar. 29, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : French Guiana defeated Cuba by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Tuesday night.

French Guiana dominated the first half thanks to goals from Baal ('24) and Eric ('44). Leading 2-0 at the break, the French Guianeses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Contout in the 63rd minute.

French Guiana advance to the second round of the ongoing Caribbean Cup qualifying campaign. Cuba is eliminated.
