Caribbean Cup 2017 Qualifiers : Curaçao beats Guyana 5-2
WILLEMSTAD, Jun. 1, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Curaçao defeated Guyana by a score of 5-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Wednesday night at the Ergilio Hato Stadium in Willemstad.
Zschusschen scored tripple goals
Curaçao dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zschusschen ('7) and Gino van Kessel ('42). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Curaçaoans further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Zschusschen '61, '89 and Gino van Kessel '63).
The result put the Curaçaoans top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their last game, Curaçao will meet the United States Virgin Islands at the Ergilio Hato Stadium on June 7, while Guyana will face the United States Virgin Islands.
