CHARLOTTE AMALIE, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Guyana defeated the United States Virgin Islands by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Saturday afternoon.
Bobb,Shakes and Abrams scored dual goals
Guyana dominated the first half thanks to goals from Bobb ('23), Shakes ('25, '44) and Millington ('30). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Guyaneses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Abrams '68, '87 and Bobb '74).
Guyana advance to the third round of the ongoing Caribbean Cup qualifying campaign.The result put the Guyanese top of Group 3 with 3 points.
