DEVONSHIRE, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : The Dominican Republic defeated Bermuda by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Saturday night at the Bermuda National Stadium in Devonshire.
All the action happened in the first half, with Faña goal in the 27th minute.
The result put the Dominicans top of Group 4 with 3 points. In their last game, the Dominican Republic will meet group leaders French Guiana at the Bermuda National Stadium on June 7, while Bermuda will face French Guiana.
