LEONORA, Oct. 11, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Jamaica defeated Guyana 4-2 after extra time, in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Leonora Stadium.
The score was still 2-2 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after goals from Butters ('7, '30) for Guyana and Watson ('63) and Williams ('88) for Jamaica, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. The Jamaicans finally broke through with goals from Francis ('116) and Burke ('120).
