CAYENNE, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : French Guiana defeated Saint Kitts and Nevis by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Saturday night at the Dr. Edmard Lama Municipal Stadium in Cayenne.
Saint Kitts and Nevis made the French Guianeses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Abelinti in the 63rd minute.
The result put the French Guianese top of Group 2 with 3 points. In their last game, French Guiana will meet group leaders Haiti at the Dr. Edmard Lama Municipal Stadium on November 9, while Saint Kitts and Nevis will face Haiti.
