COUVA, Oct. 5, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Trinidad and Tobago defeated the Dominican Republic by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2017 Caribbean Cup on Wednesday night at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva.
Molino scored tripple goals
Trinidad and Tobago dominated the first half thanks to goals from Molino ('14, '18) and Cato ('30). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Trinidadians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Molino in the 55th minute.
The result put the Trinidadians top of Group 4 with 3 points. In their last game, Trinidad and Tobago will meet Martinique at the Ato Boldon Stadium on October 11, while the Dominican Republic will face Martinique.
