SAN CRISTóBAL, Oct. 8, 2016 (AMP) — USA 2017 (Qualifiers) : Martinique defeated the Dominican Republic by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Caribbean Cup qualifying game on Saturday afternoon at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristóbal.
Martinique dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Langil in the 14th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Martinicans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Coureur with one minute left in regular time.
