Championship (Week 6) : Boro beats Huddersfield Town 2-1

ENGLAND, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Championship / Match day 6: After losing 2-3 to Sheffield Wednesday on August 30 and 0-1 to Reading on August 30, the Smoggies returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Huddersfield Town this Saturday.

Grant Leadbitter scored dual goals

Middlesbrough dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Grant Leadbitter in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Smoggies further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Leadbitter on penalty in stoppage time.

Middlesbrough FC climbed to 10th place with 9 points from 6 games, only one point behind Reading FC.
